Tragedy not because it was dramatic or anything, but because they were brand new tires. ㅠㅠ
I was on the highway/inner-state/autobahn/what ever you wanna call it and I moved over to let someone on. There was this black patch in the road but I assumed it was just water or ice or something. Even if I had known what it was I couldn’t have avoided it anyway since the person I had let on the highway was right next to me and I was going too fast (65 cause that’s the speed limit bro) to avoid it. When I drove over it I realized it wasn’t just ice. It sounded like someone was shooting the bottom of my car. It was like 킁킁킁킁킁킁. I was like “da faq was dat?”. I checked my tire pressures and my left rear was 28 PSI while the rest were 30. I kept watching it and it began dropping. So I got off on the next exit (by then my tire pressure was 15 PSI) and found a place to stop (by then it was 9 PSI). I called my dad and he came and put my spare tire on. I tried to help him but he was like “It’s cold, get in the car.” Of course today would be the one day in 2 years that I decide to wear a dress to work. I work for an accountant and usually I get by with dress pants and maybe a skirt. However, last night I got this dress on clearance and I was like “good deal. I’ll wear this to work tomorrow.” That’s what I get for being girly for once. -_- After I got home, my dad checked out the tire and it has a good sized hole in it. idk what I ran over, but I’m a little sad because I just purchased the tires last night. I think I’m going to add “knows about cars -especially tires to my mental list of husband requirements.
